Unprofessional customer support

Apparently, according to New Balance’s “Quality Care Team” a foot is build very different from what I know. I bought a pair of 530’s in October and there’s a hole in the mesh near the toe box. I’ve compared my foot and a couple of my friends foots, and I can simply not see how my toenail made the hole. Me and my friends toes are obviously IN the toe box. New Balance responded to me, that the hole is caused by my toenail and recommend me to cut them. But my toenail is underneath the toe box in the tip of the shoe.
I have a identical pair that’s older and that pair has no damage.
I find it very unprofessional to excuse it in that, when it seems like a production failure regarding my identical pair of 530’s. It would be nice if a company could acknowledge that it is a possible that it’s their fault instead of justifying it in something that simply doesn’t make any sense. Unfortunately I can not upload a picture of my toes not being near the hole.

I placed an order for shoes which the…

I placed an order for shoes which the website said will be delivered within 3 days. I've followed up consistently for updates without any feedback from the online shop. On the 4th day, I had to go on the live chat and they said that the order had been canceled due to shortage of stock. I wondered why I was allowed to order at all if the item was out of stock in the first place.

Slippery new Balance Trail running shoes

I bought new Balance trail running shoes fresh form. These are comfortable but extremely slippery. You can easily break your legs if you are running. I slipped badly, rang to new Balance but they don't want to take any responsibility just asking to sand the sole or put a hairspray. No replacement or compensation.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. I bought shoes in June, I had to return them, It is mid September, they have not picked up the shoes, they keep asking for my phone number and address, I keep confirming the same details they shipped shoes to, they even called and I confirmed again (over 20 times now), to date they say they cannot reach me, they are setting up for collection (via SMS) - they have not done so. Worst experience ever.

Misleading Shipping

My family have been longtime NB wearers. Love the shoes but be aware of false/hidden claims on their website if you order through there. My 9 yr old daughter has recently experienced severe foot pain. The Dr recommended trying new shoes (we had tried a different shoe for start of school yr) since there was nothing on X-rays. So loving NB we ordered new shoes that night and paid $25 for 1 day UPS to get them ASAP. So here we are two days later and the shoes haven't even shipped yet. When I called customer service to find out what happened they let me know that the shipping is 1 day but they have 2 days on top of that to prepare the order! What? Two days to get shoes out of the warehouse and put them in shipping container? Anyway, I told them I never saw that and if I knew I would have just gone to the NB store the next day instead of ordering online. They said it was in the fine print on order summary page and since it is there they wouldn't even refund me the money I paid for 1 day. Overall just a terrible experience and no empathy as I now have to watch my daughter hobble around in old school shoes (because they have to be white) that are too tight. I will never order from NB online again and going forward I'll be looking more closely at other brands.

I will never buy new balance shoes…

I will never buy new balance shoes again. These shoes were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever had. Brand new and I can’t use them. I bought two types of insoles and still they were so uncomfortable .😤 For the prize you pay you would think that they would be a comfortable shoe. I was wrong!!!

Horrible customer service and bad shoes

Horrible customer service (Iris) and the shoes turned out to be a nightmare.

I paid €200 for a 990v5 that got a hole in the toebox of the left shoe (from the inside) after very casual wear for a couple of months. New Balance customer service did nothing for me (except for trying to rudely get rid of me by repeating "their decision is final" even though they altered their decision after I let my attorney contact them...) while the shoe was still within warranty. Strange, as the shoe is advertised as "Proof that quality still exists, our Made in the USA 990v5 is the ultimate blend of performance and style". Such nonsense. They've become a shell of their former selves.

Short: They do not back their product or honour the warranty, not even for their flagship model. The customer is just treated like a sucker! Caveat emptor!

Horrible Customer Service

I purchased the Sea Salt New Balance 327 shoes and loved them. I never went anywhere without someone noticing them and asking me where I got them. They were very hard to find at the time, so I told them where to find them and they had to keep checking daily. I loved these shoes so much that I purchased another pair in a different color. Again, everywhere I went, people noticed them and would ask me the same thing as before. I told them.

I purchased a similar pair for each of my four grandchildren. I purchased six pairs of new balance within 6 months.

My Sea Salt 327's had a couple of spots on them, so I started spot cleaning them. As I was cleaning the shoes, I noticed that the brown leather on the heel was bleeding into the white. I tried to get the brown off of the white to no avail.

I tried live chat on the website, but they stated that I would have to go through a link they had which emailed customer service. When emailing, they asked for specific photos in a certain format, along with the receipt of where I purchased them. I emailed more photos than they asked for and my receipt of purchase in June.

After about 15 days, they emailed me back stating they did not receive all the photos they needed. I had sent them all, so I sent the same photos to them again. After about 15 more days, I received another email stating they needed a couple more of the photos. Again, they had received the same photos twice. I sent them all a third time. After another 15 or so days, I received an email stating I would be receiving a coupon code within the next 6 days. After about another 15 days, I emailed them asking where the coupon code was because I never received it. I received an email back stating it was still in review and it could be another 15 days.

After starting this complaint in June, I finally received a coupon code for $50 off a new pair of shoes at the end of August. So not only do I have a pair of shoes that I will not wear because they are no longer white, but now I have to purchase a new pair and only get $50 off.

This has been the worse customer service ever! My son in law had a problem with his Brooks Shoes, texted customer service with the problem, and within two days had a new pair of shoes!

New Balance may be a nice looking shoe, but I will NEVER purchase another pair because of the horrible customer service received. They should stand behind their shoes and not put customer's through all of this nonsense. It was as if they were trying to just wear me down and think I would just forget about it. I do not want anyone else to have the experience that I have had. There are many other brands that look good too!

A company run by monkeys

I bought a $390 pair of sneakers on their online store. Their warehouse made a mispick, and sent me a completely wrong pair.
I was then told to go to the post office to return the wrong pair of shoes. When they returned the wrong pair, they would then refund my money, and I can place a new order.

Who on Earth runs a company like that?! Unfortunately, that is the last time I am buying New Balance.
